Butterflies go through a life-changing experience. As caterpillars, they enter a cocoon for a period of time, and upon emerging they have new skills, and see the world from a higher perspective.

Men and women touched by cancer go through a similar metamorphosis that gives them new strength and insights into life, hence the reason their profiles have been incorporated into the wings of our butterfly.
